WHo we serve
Last year, MPIV sponsored eleven international service trips: one during Thanksgiving Break and eleven over Spring Break. Sites included countries through Central America and the Caribbean and, new this year, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Participants on these trips worked with various Latin American non-profits to serve community needs, ranging from construction, to education, to conservation. In addition, several local volunteer opportunities were held in the greater Nashville area as well. These projects were often focused on serving Nashville's diverse population, especially the growing Hispanic and refugee communities.
In addition, MPIV helps facilitate short-term summer projects and long-term post-graduate projects to work at an MPI site in Ecuador, Nicaragua, or Guatemala.
